  18. A low-range multi-sync should work; whether the 1084 would depends on the
  19. range of its vertical hold control, which must cover 50 Hz; there were a
  20. number of "1084" models, all of which should do this.  The height control
  21. should adjust OK.  Horizontal sweep frequency is not be a problem.

  23. SVGA monitors can be a headache with either NTSC or PAL AGA machines if
  24. their horizontal sweep range does not go as low as 27.5 KHz (dblPAL) and
  25. 27.66 (dblNTSC).  They can only be used with earlier Amigas equiped with
  26. scan doubler boards.

  28. That's one reason I'm using a PicassoII on this Hitachi CM-2110; it won't
  29. go below 31 KHz.  Not the main reason, tho.
